Player of the Week: Zach Vogel
Zach Vogel not only studies the game of lacrosse to make himself a better player, he passes on whatever tips he can to his teammates.
"He listens to coaching, puts into use what he learns and makes great suggestions," said Lake Region varsity boys' lacrosse Coach George Lawson. "He is the type of player that will intentionally improve his game and share what he knows with teammates."
The Laker sophomore has 14 goals and 4 assists this season.
In recognition of his strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Zach is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
