Sports you play: Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Unified Basketball

Q. How long have you played each? I’ve played field hockey for nine years, lacrosse for six, and unified basketball for three seasons.

Q. Why did you choose these sports? I used to do the kids’ field hockey camp every summer.

Q. What do you enjoy most about this sport? It’s been so much fun playing field hockey with an amazing group of teammates and coaches.

Q. How has competing in sports changed you as a person?  I think sports have made me more of a leader as the captain of the team this year. I definitely started out on the team as a freshman much quieter.

Q. During this period of Covid-19, what has been the most difficult adjustment?  How has it impacted you?  During this last season, it was pretty hard not knowing if we would have another game or if the one we were competing in would be the last as a high school player.

Q. What is your favorite sports memory? It will forever be when Eliza Thorne scored two goals at Freeport to put us into the Regionals game last year.

Q. Name a coach who has made a difference in your life and in what way? Coach Frost, she goes absolutely above and beyond for her players and I will miss her very much.

Q. What are your future goals? I plan on majoring in health science for the next four years but I’m still waiting to hear back from some colleges before I make my decision on which school.

Q. What are your pre-game rituals? Dancing with the team during warmups.
