School groups/honors: Class President, Varsity Club, Interact Club, Environmental Club, ASTRA Club
Why did you choose these sports? I’ve always played lacrosse but recently, I felt the need to be more involved in athletics at my school.
What do you enjoy most about sports? The friendships that I have made.
How has competing in sports changed you as a person? Competing in sports has made me a much more competitive person on and off the field. While completing daily activities, I always strive to do better than my peers.
During this period of Covid-19, what has been the most difficult adjustment and what have you been doing to occupy your time? The most challenging thing about Covid-19 was not being able to play lacrosse for my junior year. Lacrosse is hands down my favorite sport and not being able to play has had a major impact on my physical life.
What is your favorite sports memory? Having our best season ever in soccer and going 7-1.
What is your most disappointing sports memory? Losing 18-2 in playoffs sophomore year to Waynflete.
How has sports prepared you for your future? Sports has prepared me to be more social and try my hardest toward anything I do.
Name a coach who has made a difference in your life? Coach Ryan Harlow has had the most tremendous impact on my life. When I started soccer, I was not the best. Like everyone else, I had my flaws but Coach Harlow helped me fix those flaws and led me to become a much better athlete overall.
What are your future goals? To live a successful life and be able to provide for my family.
