Team Long Run shares Run Club at home video suggestions

Current events have made it impossible for Team Long Run to conduct their Run Club programs at schools, for the time being. In response, they’ve adapted some of their program activities for families at home.

Easy to follow videos are now on TLR’s website and are being shared widely on social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

The first video produced specifically for at-home students and parents demonstrated how to improvise an obstacle course with materials found in a garage (or storage room). Families from all over the country have responded by sending in short video clips of kids enjoying their own DIY obstacle courses. These can be watched on Team Long Run’s Facebook page.

The second instructional video shows families some active indoor games that can be played in any home, no matter how small.

Both videos can be seen on the At Home Run Club page on Team Long Run’s website, teamlongrun.org.

Team Long Run is a Bridgton- based 501c3 nonprofit that connects kids with running and active play at no cost. Their mission statement is: “Running is an instrument of change. We use it to help kids lead lives of selflessness, satisfaction and success.”
