James A. Klecman, 50
James A. “Jimmy” Klecman, 50, of Bridgton, died unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, at his home in Bridgton.
He was born on Feb. 12, 1969, in Hartford, Conn., the son of Evelyn Raymond. He attended Connecticut schools and, as a young man, worked in asbestos abatement and restaurants before moving to Maine in 2000 and working in construction.
On Sept. 17, 2006, he married Christine Sheppard in Bridgton, where they made their home and he worked as a stay-at-home Dad for their “later-in-life miracle baby,” Christa Marie.
He is survived by his wife, Christine of Bridgton, and their daughter, Christa Marie Klecman of Bridgton; his father-in-law, Steven Sheppard of Denmark; mother-in-law, Connie Sheppard of Taunton, Mass.; siblings, Judy Carmen of Versailles, Mo., Harold MacDonald of East Hartford, Conn., Clifton “Tommy” MacDonald of Rochester, N.H., Clark MacDonald of Kansas City, Mo., Anna Vinickas of Fla., Michael Klecman Jr. of Commerce, Colo., and Evelyn Klecman of Bridgton; a brother-in-law, Joshua Sheppard of Whitman, Mass.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn; and sisters, Josephine Trepanier and Paula Smith.
