Margaret Ward

FRYEBURG — Margaret P. Ward, 80, of Fryeburg, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, July 31, 2019.

 She was the daughter of, Eli and Ethel Liberty.

She loved God and was active in the Assembly of God Church for many years, Women’s Aglow, and she also participated in many missionary trips.

Margaret, who was called “Peggy” by friends and family, worked many jobs in her lifetime, one of which was hand-sewing shoes at Sebago Moccasin Shoe Company. More recently she worked cleaning private homes and as a CRMS (Certified Residential Medication Aide).

She was a loving, giving and caring woman. She is survived by children, Thomas Dyer, Lewis Dyer, Michael Ward, and Corinna Goodwin; five sisters, Muriel, Grace, Delina, Diana, and Patty; grandchildren, Lisa, Leanne, Eli, Jared, Angel, Travis, Felisha and Jeremy; and several great-grandchildren, too many to mention, who all will miss her terribly. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Richard Ward; two sisters, Ruth and Louisa.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will be celebrated from 1 to 4 p.m., Sat., Aug. 17, at the Campfire Grille, 518 Portland Rd., Bridgton. Arrangements are in the care of the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8 Elm St., Bridgton.
