Player of the Week: Brittany Perreault
Brittany Perreault is an outstanding student-athlete who displays exemplary commitment to her team and a strong work ethic.
“Brittany is an experienced cheerleader, who plays a pivotal role on this year’s squad,†Lake Region Athletic Director Paul True said. “It is through her tremendous effort and attitude that has earned Brittany the Player of the Week honor. I am very proud of Brittany.â€
In recognition of her strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Brittany is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.†Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.

Q. Best piece of advice you have received? BP. The best piece of advice I have received is from my mom, “If you sign up for something, you can’t quit — you are part of a team.â€
Q. Who is your biggest fan? BP. Michael Rust and Rachel Stofflet because they like to see me succeed in what I do.
Q. I know I have had a good sports day when…. BP. I feel I put my best effort into my practice, game or competition.
Q. What is your favorite sport? BP. Softball because of sportsmanship and how much fun we have.
Q. If I could change one thing about myself as an athlete, I would change… BP. I would want more endurance so I could last longer and give it my all.
Q. What qualities make for a good teammate? BP. Someone who will support you even when you mess up. I think Mikayla Fortin is a great teammate because she is so upbeat and inspiring.
Q. What characteristics do you feel make for a good coach? BP. A good coach, I feel, would have to be understanding, a good listener, a teammate when needed, but also stern and strict at the same time.
