Elroy A. Gregory

SEBAGO — Elroy Alton Gregory, 86, of North Sebago died peacefully on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 at the Androscoggin Hospice House with his nephew Ed Douglass, niece Kathy Douglass and family friend, Leslie Peterson by his side.

He was born in North Sebago on July 17, 1927, the son of Vernie and Cynthia Warren Gregory. Elroy worked and lived at his family farm his entire life. In his later years, he was a lumberman up until the past two years.

Elroy attended local schools and graduated from Potter Academy. He enjoyed church bean suppers, and eating at Denny’s in Westbrook and IHOP in South Portland.

Elroy will be sadly missed by those who had the opportunity to get to know him.

He is survived by a sister, Eleanor Douglass of Gorham; and a brother, Donald Gregory of Kezar Falls.

Visitation will be held at Hall Funeral Home in Casco on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at 1 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m.
